The Department of Defense (DoD) Performance and Accountability Report provides the US political institutions and general public with a comprehensive overview of the activities and accomplishments of the DoD in the fiscal year 2005. The report details the missions, goals, challenges, and successes of the DoD and further also provides information on financial figures, audit results, resource management, and general accountability in the department. The report covers the 12-month period ending with 30 September 2005.
