This defense agreement between several political parties sets out the Danish defense policy for the period 2010-2014. Focusing on the Danish Armed Forces, it emphasizes its transformation from a traditional mobilization defense to a modern deployable defense force. The report advocates Denmark’s active role in NATO and the UN. The tasks of the armed forces is divided national and international tasks, the latter comprising roles in armed conflict, stabilization and international policing.
