The 2010 National Security White Paper of the ROK discusses the ROK’s military strategy as well as planned military reforms. The country remains focused on defending itself against potential attacks from DPRK and will strengthen its relationship with the US. To realize its defense vision the ROK proposes the establishment of an ‘Advanced Elite Military’.
