The security strategy of Slovakia represents a political-security document, the mission of which is to create systematic conditions for a complex guarantee of the country's security. Formulating the interests of Slovakia and determining basic aims and strategic procedures for their realization in individual fields, this document provides insights into how Slovakia seeks to respond to security challenges in an increasingly complex security environment. The document further elaborates on these challenges to peace and international stability, listing ethnic tensions, economic crises, political instability, international organized crime and terrorism, and violations of human rights, among others.
