Publication

This white paper focuses on the main functions, missions and tasks of the Bulgarian armed forces. It also addresses military reform which aims to build armed forces capable of meeting the high demands of the common European security system, the new, non-traditional challenges to national security and a new type of civil-military relationship. The paper is a testament to the significant changes in the nature, purpose, development and use of Armed Forces in Europe and the rest of the world.
