Publication

This document outlines the goals of the Danish Defense in the country's foreign- and security policy. These objectives include the countering of direct and indirect threats to the security of Denmark and allied countries, the maintenance of Danish sovereignty, the protection of Danish citizens, and the goal of working towards international peace and security in accordance with the principles of the United Nations Charter. It further highlights the importance of NATO as the central forum for joint security- and defense cooperation and guarantor of European security.
