Publication

This document describes the Czech Republic's 2002 military strategy. It reflects the basic provisions of the NATO Strategic Concept and related NATO Military Committee Guidance; an assessment of the security environment; as well as the principles of the upcoming reform of the Czech armed forces. It also defines the parameters of the active participation of the armed forces in the implementation of the European Security and Defence Policy (ESDP).
