Publication

The National Security Strategy lays out a vision of Lithuania's development, its national interests and the actions required for their implementation. It establishes the basic goals and means of the national security policy, which encompasses political, diplomatic, defense, economic and other spheres of the state's policy. Lithuania's security is perceived as preserving the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity, internal security and order, democratic foundations, economic security of all legal entities and population and protection of its natural environment.
