This white paper sets out Mongolia's defense policy and its reasons for reforming the armed forces in line with the new national and international circumstances. It seeks to determine the position and role of Mongolia in the present and future development of the international community and evaluates the substance and the inter-relationship in the profound changes that have embraced the world towards the end of the twentieth century.
