Publication

The strategic concept sets out NATO's strategy for the 2011. It establishes tasks and principles, while further discussing the globa lsecurity environment. In addition, defense and deterrence responses as well as crisis management strategies are discussed, and international cooperation with regards to arms control, disarmament and non-proliferation are examined. The documents also sets out NATO's enlargement and partnership policies, and it finally discusses NATO reform and transformation and provides an outlook for NATO in the 21st century.
