This White Paper addresses international and domestic developments which have influenced Australia’s national security and defense since 2009 as well as the capabilities that the Australian Defence Force will need to address future strategic challenges. It also outlines an integrated reform agenda, which the Australian government has started in the areas of individual personal and institutional accountability, budget processes, procurement and capability, and defense conduct and culture.
