This White Paper presents an analysis of the overall state of the Czech Republic’s Ministry of Defense and its armed forces in 2011 and outlines the specific goals for the military's further development. The paper places particular emphasis on overcoming the consequences of the budget crisis, stabilizing and sustaining MoD operability for the sake of preserving combat readiness, ensuring national defense and meeting the Czech Republic’s international commitments.
