Nicholas Bahrich

Nicholas Bahrich is a PhD candidate at the Center for Security Studies (CSS) at ETH Zurich. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Zurich where he specialized in labor economics and policy evaluation. Nicholas’ Master’s thesis studied the long run impact of American immigration reform. During his Master’s, Nicholas also worked as a Research Assistant at the ETH Zurich Immigration Policy Lab.

Nicholas’ current research interests lie at the intersection of innovation and security policy. This interest spans the design of policy to integrate civilian developed technology with military technology, and the second-order effects of these policies on the global economy and the international security environment.
