New Evidence, Analysis, and Policy Insights

1 February 2012, Zurich

This one-day external pageworkshop, organized by the CSS Nuclear Weapons Policy Research team and hosted by the Vienna Center for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation (VCDNP), brought together historians, social scientists, think tankers, diplomats, and officials. The main objective of the event was to discuss the role and relevance of historical research on nuclear proliferation for policy-making. The workshop is part of the ongoing activities of the Nuclear Proliferation International History Project (NPIHP), an international consortium funded by the Carnegie Corporation of New York. The CSS is a founding member of NPIHP.
