This publication examines the course of and the challenges to the Juba Peace Talks in northern Uganda. The paper identifies the ICC indictments, problems with the mediator, consolidating ceasefire, and detractors, namely the diaspora and the Khartoum government, as the main challenges to the peace process. The authors emphasize the importance of treating the conflict as a systematic one, and thus underline the need to design the Juba Peace Talks in such a way to address all the interests to the conflict, including the Diaspora, Khartoum, the Lord's Resistance Army and the Ugandan government
