Saferworld has been a leading member of the non-governmental organization (NGO) coalition pressing for an international Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) since the very beginning in 1996, when a group of Nobel Laureates first called from stronger regulation of the international arms trade. In this short briefing we set out our involvement in the ATT process so far.
