The UK Government’s 2010 Strategic Defence and Security Review committed HMG to developing a cross-government Building Stability Overseas Strategy for addressing overseas conflict and fragility, due to be published in Spring 2011. ‘Promoting sustainable security in a complex world’ is Saferworld’s submission on the development of this strategy and looks at how the UK can best promote lasting stability in a complex and multi-polar world.
