This study analyzes 11 Middle Eastern countries' progress in information and communication technologies (ICT) and how they compare to the rest of the world in terms of sector sophistication and development. Looking ahead, the paper analyzes three scenarios for the coming 20 years: pessimistic, steady state and optimistic.
