This brief examines Yemen's National Dialogue Conference (NDC), aimed at resolving the country’s political, social, and economic issues. The author argues that the NDC needs a contingency plan to ensure the country’s security but also that the conference is the beginning of an ongoing process, rather than a solution in and of itself.
