This paper uses interviews with young members of Yemen's political parties to determine how youth engagement in the country's political parties has changed since the 2011 uprisings. More specifically, it examines the extent to which young members are involved in decision-making and what can be done to increase their leadership role. It also looks at whether young people feel more positive about their ability to bring about change through these parties, and at some of the structural barriers to positive youth engagement.
