This brief explains how to incorporate gender, peace and security as objectives/categories in the UN's post-2015 Development Goals. Since gender discrimination can indeed drive conflict and violence, the text's author makes a special effort to clarify the 'targets, capacities, and indicator options' that will improve the odds of gender becoming an approved development category.
