This note examines public opinion on the two-state solution in Israel and the Palestinian territories. To do this, the author looks at various polls which providing contradicting results on the acceptability of the two state solution and then explores the reasons for their diverging outcomes. He ends the piece by arguing that there is in fact more of a consensus supporting a two-state solution than there is for any other alternative, and that this is true in both Israel and the Palestinian territories.
