This brief examines what the replacement of the UK's Conflict Pool, a venture capital fund for peace activities, with the Conflict, Stability and Security Fund (CSSF) in April 2015 will mean for the future of the country's work on conflict prevention. The authors also provide a brief description of UK conflict prevention initiatives undertaken in Kenya, Lebanon and the Philippines before providing recommendations for the UK Government and Parliament on how they can continue to build on the country's commitment to conflict prevention through the CSSF.
