This issue of the Brazilian Political Science Review (BPSR) includes articles on 1) Brazil’s policy towards the rest of South America during Luiz Inácio “Lula” da Silva’s government from 2003-2010; 2) the regulation of drinking water and sanitation services in the metropolitan area of Buenos Aires; 3) the institutionalization of the state Public Defender’s Offices before and after the reform that granted independence and new functions to the Public Defender’s Offices in Brazil; and 4) Brazil’s foreign policy towards the United States in 2011. The issue also contains several book reviews.
