This paper discusses what is positive and what can be improved in the 'zero draft' of the Post-2015 Development Agenda from the perspective of peacebuilding. The authors conclude that the positives include that the draft affirms the importance of peace for achieving sustainable development. However, on the negative side, they suggest that the framework set out by the draft needs to be more inclusive of the different stakeholders that could be involved in the new development agenda and that it must go further in recognizing the multipolar global order.
