This memorandum focuses on the likelihood of a violent uprising occurring in the West Bank. More specifically, the text's author considers 1) why the odds of an uprising are increasing; 2) how renewed violence would impact US interests; and 3) what steps Washington might take to prevent or mitigate major unrest in this troubled part of the world.
