This book assesses the achievements and shortcomings of the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership (EMP) for the time period from 1995 to 2005. It contains various essays, which analyze the main thematic areas of the EMP such as political reform, human rights and immigration. It explores how the EMP is perceived from different national perspectives and how it relates to evolving national government policies. The book also explores the different perspectives that persist within the debates on EMP.
