This paper examines the European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP). First, it considers the general principles of the ENP including its objectives and instruments. Further, it examines the EU's approach to its eastern neighbors following the publication of the Strategy Paper. The author concludes with analyses on the limitations and prospects of the EU’s approach to its eastern partners versus the European Neighbourhood Policy.
