This e-note examines the Trump administration’s emerging foreign policy towards Asia, particularly in the case of key states such as China, Japan and Taiwan. One heartening trend is that President Trump’s initial doubts about the controversial ‘One China’ policy are seemingly giving way to a recognizable mainstream policy.
