Organizations and Resources Network
The International Conflict Research (ICR) group is comprised of academics based at ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich's Center for Comparative and International Studies (CIS). The group's primary research focus is on macro-historical processes such as nationalism, democratization and state-formation, as well as associated micro-theoretical mechanisms, with a particular concentration on the role of ethnic groups in conflict processes. In exploring all these areas, the ICR relies heavily on social-scientific theories and methodologies to reach their conclusions.
