The International Council on Security and Development (ICOS) is a think tank that preoccupies itself with conflict zones such as Afghanistan, Iraq and Somalia. Its overarching goals are to 1) help "alleviate current governance, development and economic crises," and 2) ensure that future policy-making in these areas is humanitarian, well-informed and has a beneficial impact.
