The Montreal Institute for Genocide and Human Rights Studies (MIGS) is a research center of the Faculty of Arts and Science of Concordia University. It conducts in-depth scholarly research and proposes concrete policy recommendations to resolve conflicts before they degenerate into mass atrocity crimes. The Institute further collects and disseminates knowledge about the historical origins of mass killings through research, teaching, workshops, conferences and publications.
