The Society for Central and Eastern Europe (SSVE) is an independent NGO that supports the building of a knowledge-based society and economy in Slovakia. It pursues this end by reporting on international political and economic relations, and on five regions -- the former Soviet space, the Western Balkans, the Middle East, Central Europe, and East Asia.
