Swiss Security Policy
In a time of multiple, overlapping crises and tectonic geopolitical and economic shifts, Swiss security policy also faces major challenges. The CSS focuses on analyzing and assessing the security situation and its medium- and long-term implications for Switzerland. Through publications on current trends and topics, public events and conferences, and discussions with Swiss media representatives, we provide input for current debates on the future shape of Swiss security and foreign policy. We also advise the CSS's institutional partners – the Federal Department of Defense, Civil Protection, and Sports (DDPS) and the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) – on current security and foreign policy issues.
