Global Security

The Global Security Section of the CSS Think Tank provides forward-looking, policy-relevant analysis of international security dynamics, with a particular emphasis on systemic change and emerging risks, and with explicit attention to implications for Switzerland and Europe. Combining regional depth with functional expertise, the section examines great-power relations, middle-power alignment behavior, the geopolitics of technology, and the resilience of security-critical ecosystems. Its work connects traditional security and defense questions with non-traditional challenges such as technological disruption, geoeconomic coercion, and knowledge security, with astrong focus on anticipation.
