The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace is a private, nonprofit organization that works to advance the cause of peace by 1) analyzing and developing fresh policy ideas, and 2) promoting direct engagement and collaboration between decision makers in government, business, and civil society. To accomplish these ends, the Endowment operates centers in Moscow, Beijing, Beirut, Brussels and Washington.
