Organizations and Resources Network

The mission of the Center for Sustainable Development (CSUD) works to advance the long-term viability of cities. In pursuing this end, the Center concentrates on urban development in low- and middle-income countries and in its home community, the New York City area. Its interdisciplinary analyses specifically focus on 1) the links between urban transport and land use to economic development, 2) ongoing demographic shifts, 3) the health systems of urban areas, and 4) the impact of climate change.
