The Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) is an international body that attempts to represent the collective voice of the Muslim world. In order to protect the vital interests of Muslims worldwide and settle disputes involving its 57 member states, the OIC has consultative and cooperative relations with the UN and other intergovernmental organizations.
