The University of Texas at Austin's Climate Change and African Political Stability (CCAPS) program is a multi-year research program that analyzes how climate change, conflict, governance, and aid all intersect with each other to impact African and international security. Its specific areas of interest include climate vulnerability and protection models, democratic governance and disaster response, and adaptation aid.
