The Verification Research, Training and Information Centre (VERTIC) is an independent, non-profit organization that supports the development, implementation, and continued effectiveness of international agreements, and their related regional and/or national initiatives. In pursuing this overarching end, VERTIC primarily focuses on three specific types of agreements -- i.e., those that focus on arms control/disarmament, peace creation, and the environment -- and the activities that support them.
