The Center for American Progress is a nonprofit, nonpartisan think tank that conducts research and promotes debate on issues such as 1) US national security, 2) energy and climate change, and 3) American global leadership. While performing these tasks, the organization deliberately challenges policies that stem from conservative values and supports those that serve more progressive policy agendas.
