The Integrative Center for Homeland Security is the focal point for domestic security analysis within the Texas A&M University system. In order to ensure a 'safer and better prepared society', the Center focuses on a variety of related subjects -- i.e., emergency response, food and water security, network/data security and information technologies, the management of biohazards, the physical protection of infrastructure and transportation systems, physical counter measures and basic research, sensing technologies, and health issues.
