Organizations and Resources Network

The Multinational Small Arms and Ammunition Group (MSAG) is an apolitical and informal assembly of like-minded nation-states that work to reduce the number of small arms and light weapons (SALW) in circulation, and to minimize the number of accidents associated with them. To support these generalized goals, the MSAG 1) works to enhance the development of Physical Security and Stockpile Management (PSSM) capabilities; 2) exchanges best practices among its members and their partners; 3) orchestrates the destruction and disposal of small and light weapons; and 4) undertakes, at its members' discretion, the development of SALW-related standard operating procedures and training programs.
