The Center for Research and Security Studies (CRSS) works to create a democratic Pakistan in which all citizens are equal -- i.e., where they do not suffer racial, ideological, ethnic, or sectarian discrimination. In support of this overarching goal, The CRSS 1) promotes the rule of law as a primary condition for socio-economic progress and democratic development; 2) advocates good governance; 3) propagates informed debate on the role of politics and religion in Pakistani society; 4) sensitizes the public on their role as government watchdogs; and 5) acts as an agent of change through community-focused engagement.
