The Institute of World Affairs (IWA) focuses on conflict analysis and management, and on post-conflict peacebuilding. It practically supports these activities by 1) advising senior policy practitioners; 2) conducting education and training programs in conflict analysis, cross-cultural negotiations, and peacebuilding; 3) providing how-to guidance on war-to-peace transitions; and 4) increasing functional contacts between quarreling communities.
