The Macroeconomic and Financial Management Institute of Eastern and Southern Africa (MEFMI) is an economic management institute which focuses on how to enhance the capacities of central banks, ministries of finance and economic planning in Eastern and Southern Africa. The institute also helps these central banks and ministries to identify emerging challenges, risks and opportunities in macro-economic, financial sector and sovereign debt management.
