The Network for Religious and Traditional Peacemakers is an organization that aims to improve the effectiveness and sustainability of peace focused efforts through collaboratively supporting and strengthening the positive role of religious and traditional actors in peace and peacebuilding processes. The Network is composed of a range of different actors - from grassroots religious and traditional peacemaking actors to international NGOs and academic institutes - and advances four key objectives: supporting short- and longterm, local peace mediation and peacebuilding processes, advocacy, specialized training and research, and support for its partners.
