The Centro Alti Studi per la Difesa (CASD) is a joint-services organization operating at national and international level in close cooperation with universities, similar institutions, research centers and prominent experts from various sectors of politics, culture, science, business and industry. The mission of CASD is to support and disseminate military culture in order to support military management in decision-making processes, and to educate military and civilian scholars, both Italian and foreign, for a future of peace, stability and progress.
