The International Bureau for Children's Rights (IBCR) is an international nongovernmental organization (INGO) based in Montreal, Canada since its creation in 1994. The IBCR's mission is to contribute to the promotion and protection of the rights of the child as laid out in the Convention on the Rights of the Child, an international legal instrument adopted by the UN in 1989 and now ratified by 192 countries.
