Organizations and Resources Network

The GIGA German Institute of Global and Area Studies is a research organization that mostly focuses its analytical efforts on four parts of the world -- Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East. In doing so, GIGA specifically focuses on 1) democratization and its future, 2) the resolution of resource conflicts, 3) the social and economic impacts of globalization at the local level, and 4) the effects of emerging power alliances on international relations.
